Get ready to dig into spring! The Crestview Garden Club of Elmhurst invites you to its 46th annual plant sale on Saturday, May 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Depot located at 511 S. York St. (York St. and the Prairie Path) in Elmhurst.
Discover a huge selection of plants at great prices. Come and check out the more than 1,200 plants and 130-plus varieties that include sun and shade perennials, natives, groundcovers, herbs and vegetables. The sale will also feature plants that attract pollinators. Native plants are crucial for supporting pollinators like bees, butterflies and hummingbirds as they produce essential nectar and pollen while being well-adapted to our climate. Planting a variety of native flowers, shrubs and trees can create a thriving habitat for pollinators, ensuring their survival and helping your garden flourish.
Experienced gardeners will be onsite at the sale to answer questions and assist with plant selection. A portion of the plant sales are donated to support community projects. Sale takes place rain or shine. Check, cash, major credit cards and Zelle will be accepted for purchases. A list of plants available at the sale will be posted on the club website—https://www.crestviewgardenclub.com—by May 8. Preview the plants before the sale and create your shopping list to ensure you snag your favorites. Don’t miss out on the best selections and be prepared to shop early.
Vendors will be on site selling honey, birdhouses and decorative stepping stones. A horticulturist will also be available to answer plant questions. Don’t miss out on this blooming good time!
The club welcomes new members and meets monthly (except for January) on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Community Bank of Elmhurst at Butterfield and Spring roads in Elmhurst.
