Shown here is the new refrigerated van that will enable the Elmhurst-Yorkfield Food Pantry to transport food to families throughout the community. A DuPage Foundation grant provided critical funding for the purchase of the vehicle, helping the pantry make a significant investment in its food distribution operations. Holman, a company that provides commercial fleet management, vehicle upfitting and retail dealership, helped bring the project together by partnering on the vehicle purchase and handling the van’s upfitting, including installation of the refrigeration unit.
