Citizens for Elmhurst Preservation will host the “Preservation Promenade,” a guided historic neighborhood walking tour fundraiser, on Saturday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m. and on Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m.
The 90-minute guided tour will take participants on an eight-block walk through one of Elmhurst’s most historically significant neighborhoods, highlighting 27 historic homes and two churches located within the Emery and Struckmann Neighborhood—one of the city’s earliest residential developments dating back to 1889.
