The IC Catholic Prep football team continues to pile up wins.

The Knights moved to 5-0 with a dominant 40-0 Chicago Catholic League crossover win over Chicago Leo at Lewis Stadium at Plunkett Athletic Complex in Elmhurst.

ICCP, ranked in a tie for first in the state in Class 3A in the Illinois Media poll after Week 4, has outscored its last two opponents 73-7.

The Knights led 12-0 after the first quarter and 19-0 at intermission. ICCP added a third-quarter touchdown to go up 26-0 and scored two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter for the final margin.

Quarterback Nate Lang completed eight passes for 94 yards and three touchdowns, while Jake Yost completed four passes for 107 yards and a touchdown.

Jakobe Baldwin ran 15 times for 128 times and a touchdown. Lang ran three times for 50 yards, while Jacob Riera ran three times for 36 yards. ICCP ran for 231 yards and averaged 8.9 yards per carry.

Grant Bowen caught four passes for 66 yards and a score, Anthony Carroccio had four catches for 38 yards and two touchdowns. Quai McGee had two catches for 72 yards and a touchdown and caught a 55-yard pass.

Will Schmidt returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown and added 17 punt-return yards.

ICCP rolled up 513 all-purpose yards and 432 total yards.

Defensively, Schmidt also had six tackles, while Jalen Banks had five tackles, one sack and one forced fumble. Mason Spillone had five tackles, two for loss.

Luke Rhomberg had four tackles, three for loss, and an interception. Donnel Sallis had four tackles, a pass deflection and a fumble recovery. Nicky Mertz had four tackles, while Bowen had four tackles and a sack. Isaac Barrientos also had a sack, while Romeo Woods had two hurries.

ICCP heads to south-suburban Burbank Friday to face St. Laurence in a Chicago Catholic League White Division game.
